What is Grad Nite?

Laguna Hills High Grad Nite is a long standing tradition.  We are one of the few High Schools in Orange County that still offers an on-campus Celebration especially for just our Graduates.  Grad Nite is provided by a committed group of parents joining together with other community members to give LHHS high school graduates a safe, sober, and spectacular graduation celebration. More than "just a party," Grad Nite is a commitment by parents, school and the community to conduct a great, "once in a lifetime" celebration. Grad Nite is a unique and spectacular celebration that is alcohol and drug free. It builds a spirit of togetherness among the graduates as they celebrate with old friends for one last time. A sense of community is developed as everyone works to keep the graduates entertained and safe on potentially the most dangerous night of their lives.

Why go to Grad Nite, besides the awesome party?

To keep your Graduate safe on such a special day. Graduation night has the highest death toll of the year for teenagers, because alcohol-related traffic accidents remain the No. 1 killer of America's teenagers, and the evening of graduation is the party night of all party nights. Car accidents cause more teenage deaths than any other factor, and the majority of these accidents happen between 6 pm and 12 am.

What is there to do at the Grad Nite party?

Grad Nite is an all-inclusive event!  Between the activities, food and entertainment, there are so many ways for the Graduates to celebrate together. In the past years, there have been fortune tellers, temporary tattoo stations, casino tables, ice cream bar, photo booths, awesome prizes and more! But know, we don’t like to give away too much (not even the theme) because the surprise is half the fun.  The DJ always promises a fun party as most of the Graduates listen to awesome music until the party comes to an end. Graduates are offered breakfast food in the early hours of the morning! Water and other soft drinks are provided all night.
